We aim at inspiring the love for learning and studying among children and the youth living in rural areas of Bali.

We aim at reducing the gap between those who can afford a good education and those who are from low-income families or live too far from any proper educational structures.

We want more students from rural and low-income families to sit for university entrance exams and pass with good marks.

We want the youth to have a clearer perspective about their future and define better their professional project.

We try to give them more views about what they can do, other than working in the tourism industry. We try to develop their sensibilities, commitment and interest about their environment so that they may foresee a career or studies in environmental protection.

OUR PRIDE!

We are so proud when children who have been sponsored for years by the intermediary of ADEDVI enter university or higher studies, and eventually graduate!

Today we are proud of Yuti Ari's studies. After two years of higher studies thanks to the help of her godmother Anne, she graduated and is now employed as a teacher in our kindergarten. Then there is Desi who is still on a four-year cursus in order to become a high school teacher thanks to her godmother from France. And we shouldn't forget Dewa Rai Wijana who wants to be a religion high school teacher and is at the Faculty of Education and Religion (Universitas Hindu Dharma) thanks to the kind help of Gaby and Marie-Josée from France. In 2010, I Wayan Kana Febriawan is registering for higher studies in mathematics in the aim of teaching this subject. Ni Luh Wayan Eka Putri who has been sponsored by Sylvie and Olivier from Toulon for many years wants to continue her studies in hotel business and tourism, but is going to postpone her studies for a year. She has been offered a job in handicraft making and didn't want to miss this opportunity to make some money...  Thanks a lot to Sylvie and Oliver, and to Françoise B., to take an interest in their godchild's career and future.

Every year, the ADEDVI association encourages high school students from the village to come and attend to the teachers at the kindergarten in order to better know the teaching job... and be a role model.
